My best tip for succulents is DO NOT OVER WATER. Succulents should be completely dry before watering again.
Succulents prefer well draining soil and a container with drainage holes. If they are in a container without drainage you will need to monitor that the soil is drying out and the roots aren't setting in water.
Most succulents prefer a sunny window. Though direct sunlight can burn sensitive petals, especially on string of pearls. Bright but indirect is usually the way to go!
If your succulent is growing too tall, you can chop the top off. Let it callous over for a couple days, then replant it in the soil. They almost always re-root. Succulents are usually easy growers.
If your plant has crunchy leaves underneath, you can use tweezers to remove them. This will help the plant focus on new growth.
The biggest killer of cactus is root rot. It is easier to come back from under watering than over watering.
When you water your cactus, don't be afraid thoroughly soak the soil. BUT let it dry out completely before watering again.
Cactus generally require a lot of sunlight.
If you notice your cactus growing skinnier or in a weird shape it may be from not getting enough sun light. They can survive like this, they just may not thrive.
Air plants are very easy! Although contrary to the name, they need more than just the air to survive.
Air plants need watered regularly. I personally say every two weeks, but everyone has different techniques.
Soak your air plant in a bowl of water. They prefer rain or pond water. If you're using city water, let it set out for a day before using for your plant. Let the plant soak for 1-2 minutes.
Make sure after watering your plant has good air flow so it can dry out without getting soggy.
If you're in a very dry environment you may consider misting your air plant with a spray bottle once a week between soakings.
